Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

STRATWARM ALERT EXISTS STRATWARM TUESDAY
STRONG STRATOSPHERIC WARMING IN THE MIDDLE AND UPPER STRATOSPHERE,
INTENSIFYING. TEMPERATURE GRADIENT REVERSED BETWEEN 60N AND THE POLE
FROM 10TO 1 HPA. EASTERLY ZONAL MEAN WINDS AT 60N FROM 3 TO 1 HPA,
WITHIN 5 DAYS EXPECTED TO PROPAGATE DOWN TO 5 HPA.
