Geophysical report

Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

B. Proton Events
The greater than 10 MeV proton flux at geosynchronous orbit reached the 10 pfu event threshold at 11/1055Z, and the 100 pfu event threshold at 11/1630Z, reaching a peak value of 114 pfu at 11/1645Z. The greater than 10 MeV proton event is still in progress. The greater than 100 MeV proton flux at geosynchronous orbit reached the 1 pfu event threshold at 11/0940Z with a peak value of 2 pfu at 11/1400Z, and ended at 11/1955Z.
