There is only one sunspot group currently on the solar disk, Catania sunspot group 96 (NOAA AR 1765). Although this active region has beta-gamma configuration of its photospheric magnetic field it is not particularly active. However, we still expect C-class flares and possibly also M-class flare from this active region in the following hours. The interplanetary magnetic field magnitude is about 4 nT, and the solar wind speed is currently 420 km/s. CME-driven shock wave associated with the M1.3 flare on June 05, might be expected today, producing at most unsettled geomagnetic conditions. We expect quiet to unsettled geomagnetic conditions during following hours.
Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 028, based on 07 stations.
