Rapporto geofisico
Ogni brillamento solare menzionato nel rapporto ha un fattore di scala, applicato dal Centro di Predizione Meteorologica Spaziale (SWPC). A causa del fattore di scala del SWPC, i brillamenti solari sono segnalati come ridotti del 42%, rispetto ai dati di qualità scientifica. Il fattore di scala è stato rimosso dai nostri dati archiviati sui brillamenti solari, per riflettere le unità fisiche reali.

The greater than 10 MeV proton flux at
geosynchronous orbit reached the 10 pfu event threshold at 11/1055Z,
and the 100 pfu event threshold at 11/1630Z, reaching a peak value
of 114 pfu at 11/1645Z. The greater than 10 MeV proton event is
still in progress. The greater than 100 MeV proton flux at
geosynchronous orbit reached the 1 pfu event threshold at 11/0940Z
with a peak value of 2 pfu at 11/1400Z, and ended at 11/1955Z.
