Solar activity report
Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

SDF Number 085 Issued at 2200Z on 26 Mar 2010IA. Analysis of Solar Active Regions and Activity from 25-2100Z to 26-2100Z Solar activity was very low. Region 1057 (N15E30) has
grown in size and increased in classification to a Dki Beta. New
Region 1058 (N25W21) remains stable and quiet as a Axx Alpha spot. A
filament was observed lifting off the SW quadrant of the disk around
26/07Z. An associated weak limb event CME is visible on LASCO C3
coronagraph imagery.
IB. Solar Activity Forecast
Solar activity is expected to be low
with C-class flares likely, and a slight chance for an M-class flare
over the next three days (27-29 March).
