Geophysical report
Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

B. Proton Events
The greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained
elevated and reached a maximum daily value of 30 pfu at 02/0030 UTC.
Proton flux values continued to steadily decrease as they
recover
from the proton event which began at 25/1355 UTC from an
X4/2b.

The geomagnetic field was quiet.
