Bulletin

Over the past 24 hours solar activity has been low. No flares have been recorded. A recurrent Active Region at the the East limb has some potential to produce flaring activity. The greater than 10MeV proton flux remained at background levels over the past 24 hours. No Earth directed CMEs were detected. Solar activity is expected to remain low over the next 24 hours. The solar wind speed has decreased from 375 till 335 km/s over the past 24 hrs. The total magnetic field strength has fluctuated mainly between 9 and 13 nT. Bz component has fluctuated between -5.2 and +6.8 nT. Geomagnetic conditions ranged between Kp index 0-3 (NOAA) and local K index 0-3 (Dourbes) over the past 24 hours. Geomagnetic conditions are expected be mostly at quiet to unsettled levels.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 20 stations.
