Bulletin

Solar X-ray flux remained below B level. There are no spotted regions on disk and Solar flaring is expected to remain below C level over the next days.

No Earth directed Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) were observed in the available coronagraphic imagery.

The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at nominal levels over the past 24 hours and is expected to stay at nominal levels. The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at nominal levels the past 24 hours and is expected to remain so.

Solar wind conditions have returned to nominal with wind speed stable around 350km/s since late yesterday. The total magnetic field was nominal, reaching a peak of 6nT following a sector change into the positive (outward magnetic field) sector around 6UT this morning. A change back into the negative sector is expected later today, followed by a high speed stream due to the extension of the southern polar coronal hole that transited central meridian starting April 7.

Geomagnetic conditions have been quiet (both NOAA Kp and local K Dourbes 0-2). Geomagnetic conditions are expected to reach unsettled to active conditions in the next 24-48 hours, with a slight possibility of minor geomagnetic storming.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 29 stations.
