Geophysical report

Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

THE GT 10 MEV PROTON FLUX BEGAN THE PERIOD NEAR 24 PFU AND DECLINED SLOWLY THROUGH THE DAY TO NEAR 10 PFU AT THE END OF THE PERIOD.
C. Geomagnetic Activity Summary
THE GEOMAGNETIC FIELD WAS AT UNSETTLED TO MINOR STORM LEVELS. THE MOST DISTURBED PERIOD WAS FROM 28/0300-0600Z.
