Geophysical report

Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

THE GEOMAGNETIC FIELD WAS QUIET TO UNSETTLED.
D. Stratwarm
STRATWARM ALERT/SUNDAY/STRATWARM EXISTS. AN INTENSE WARMING EXISTS OVER EAST ASIA,LEADING TO A TEMPERATURE INCREASE OF MORE THAN 35 DEGREES CELSIUS DURING A WEEK NORTH OF THE SEA OF OKHOTSK AT 10HPA. WARM AIR SPREADING NORTHEASTWARD. AT THE SAME TIME THERE IS A STRONG AND COLD VORTEX OVER THE EUROPEAN/WESTSIBERIAN ARCTIC.
