Geophysical report

Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

B. Proton Events
The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was above alert threshold reaching a maximum value of 28 pfu at 11/0515Z. The greater than 100 MeV proton flux reached alert threshold at 11/0425Z, achieved a maximum value of 1.3 pfu at 11/0425Z and the event ended at 11/0535Z.
