Solar activity is increasing with a recurrent active region rotating over the west limb, NOAA AR 2339 (old NOAA AR 2322). It produced an M1.9 flare with peak at 09:47 UT. Furthermore, NOAA AR 2335 has doubled in size from yesterday and reached a beta-gamma magnetic field configuration. More M-class flares are expected. Geomagnetic conditions are quiet and expected to remain so today. Tomorrow, the CME from May 2 can arrive to the Earth and produce active to minor storm conditions.
