Bulletin

Solar activity was low with X-ray flux remaining below C Level, no change is expected as there are no active regions on the visible solar disc. A new region rotating over the eastern limb has so far produced only B-class flares. A partial halo CME was seen at 03:36 UT by LASCO-C2 at the eastern solar limb, this event is backsided and will not affect Earth.

Geomagnetic conditions have been quiet to unsettled in past 24h due to the vanishing effect of a high speed solar wind stream from a coronal hole. Solar wind speed is at 450 km/s and the interplanetary magnetic field intensity at 4 nT. Quiet conditions are expected. An ALL-QUIET-ALERT is issued for the next 48 h. TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : ///, BASED ON /// STATIONS.
