Bulletin

Solar activity was low, no C-class flares in past 24 h. NOAA 2698 decayed into a plage, no active regions visible. No significant flares are expected in the coming hours.

Proton flux levels are at background values and are expected to remain so. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed.

Solar wind speed is at 330 km/s with interplanetary magnetic field magnitude of 4 nT. Geomagnetic conditions have been quiet. The fast speed solar wind coming from the low latitude extension of the northern polar coronal hole (reaching up to 20 degrees north in latitude) could affect the Earth today (but it might as well miss it), unsettled to active conditions can be expected.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 16 stations.
