Bulletin

There are presently no sunspot groups observed on the visible side of the Sun, and accordingly there was no flaring activity during last 24 hours. No Earth directed CMEs were observed, and the solar protons remained at the background level.

The Earth is still inside the slow solar wind with the speed of about 370 km/s. The interplanetary magnetic field magnitude is presently 4 nT. The increase of the solar wind speed, associated with patchy equatorial coronal hole that reached central meridian on July 16, might be expected in the morning of July 20. The unsettled to possibly, but not very probably, short interval of active conditions might be induced with the expected arrival of the fast solar wind.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 25 stations.
