Bulletin

Over the past 24 hours solar activity has been low. There are currently no active regions on the solar disk. No Earth directed Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) have been detected. The greater than 10MeV proton flux remained at background levels over the past 24 hours. Solar activity is expected to remain very low over the next 24 hours. The solar wind speed has decreased from 550 till 470 km/s over the past 24 hours. The total magnetic field strength has decreased from 7 till 4 nT. The Bz component fluctuated around 0 nT, ranging between -5 and +5 nT. Bz componnet fluctuations are expected to decrease further. Geomagnetic conditions ranged between Kp index 2-4 (NOAA) and local K index 3-5 (Dourbes) over the past 24 hours. Geomagnetic conditions are expected to be from unsettled to active.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 19 stations.
