Bulletin

Solar activity was at very low levels. The visible solar disk was spotless. No earth-directed coronal mass ejections (CMEs) have been observed in the available coronagraphic imagery. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at nominal values. Solar activity is expected to remain at very low levels.

The solar wind speed fluctuated between 290 km/s and 350 km/s (ACE). The phi angle alternated between the negative and positive sectors over the period. Bz varied between -4 and +3 nT.

Geomagnetic activity was quiet, with the Kp index (NOAA) and the local k index (Dourbes) recording values of 0-1. Quiet conditions are expected to continue with possible isolated unsettled conditions.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 13 stations.
