Bulletin

No active regions visible on the Sun. No flares observed, nor expected.

No Earth directed CMEs in the past 24 h. Solar protons have remained at background levels over the past 24 hours.

The solar wind speed is at 480 km/s with interplanetary magnetic field magnitude of 4 nT. Mostly quiet to unsettled conditions (K and Kp = 1 - 3) were observed in the past 24 h, with one period of active conditions observed locally (K = 4, at 20:00 UT on 21 February). We can still expect some influence of solar wind streams from small patchy negative polarity equatorial coronal holes. Mostly unsettled conditions expected for the next 48 h, with possible active periods.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 13 stations.
