Bulletin

Solar flaring activity was at very low levels. No significant flares have been recorded. Solar activity is expected to remain at very low levels.

No Earth directed Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) were observed in the available coronagraphic imagery.

The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at nominal levels over the past 24 hours and is expected to stay at nominal levels for the next 24 hours. The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at moderate levels over the past 24 hours and is expected to remain as such in the coming days.

The solar wind speed near Earth decreased further, with values ranging from 405 to 460 km/s (DSCOVR). The Interplanetary Magnetic Field (IMF) was predominantly oriented towards the Sun (phi angle in the negative sector). The magnitude of the magnetic field varied between +1 and +4 nT. Bz ranged between -4 and +3 nT.

Quiet geomagnetic conditions were registered for the past 24 hours (K Dourbes recorded values 0-2 and NOAA Kp 1-2). Quiet geomagnetic conditions are expected for the next 24 hours.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 014, based on 22 stations.
