Bulletin

The two active regions (ARs) visible on the disk NOAA AR 2778 and 2779 are rotating out of view over the west limb and a new pair of (unnumbered) regions is doing the opposite over the east limb. No significan flares in the past 24 hours. C-class flares are possible

No Earth directed CME was observed in the past 24 hours.

The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at background levels over the past 24 hours. It is expected to stay at background levels for the next 24 hours. The greater than 2 MeV electrons passed below the 10^3 pfu threshold at 17:00 UT on 31 October. They are expected to remain at low levels.

The speed of the solar wind varied between 360 and 400 km/s. Bz was never below -5 nT and B reached 6 nT. The solar wind speed is expected to remain at low speeds over the next 24 hours.

The geomagnetic conditions were Kp = 2 and KDourbes = 3. The CME from 26 October can arrive to the Earth today and cause up to active conditions. Otherwise quiet conditions expected in the next 24 hours.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 002, based on 09 stations.
