The greater than 10 MeV proton flux levels increased above the S1 (Minor) threshold at 17/0735 UTC, reached a peak flux of 33 pfu at 17/1050 UTC and crossed below threshold at 17/1615 UTC.

The geomagnetic field was at active to severe storm levels due to 14 Sep 2024 CME effects.
