Geophysical report

Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

B. Proton Events
A greater than 10 MeV proton event began at 21/0225 UTC and continues in progress. The maximum flux so far is 2520 PFU at 21/2320 UTC. A greater than 100 MeV proton event began at 21/0155 UTC and continues in progress. The maximum flux so far is 23 PFU at 21/1025 UTC.

The geomagnetic field was quiet to unsettled.
