Bulletin

Solar activity has been eruptive the last 24h featuring 6 C flare with the highest a C 8.2 flare peaking at February 20th 11:11 UT. All flaring activity came from AR Catania 95 (NOAA 11678). Flaring activity is expected to remain active especially from this AR which has a Beta-Gamma-Delta magnetic configuration. Solar wind speed is at 400 km/s and the IMF Bz component is low between -5 nT and 5 nT. Geomagnetic activity has been quiet to moderate and is expected to remain so for the next 48h.
