Bulletin

Currently there are 9 Catania AR on the solar disk (7 NOAA AR). AR Catania 95 (NOAA 11678) has increased its complexity to Beta-Gamma-Delta configuration and therefore has a high flaring probability. C flaring and potentially an isolated M flare is expected especially from this region. An Earth directed CME with potential glancing blow was observed by STEREO on February 19th around 07:10 UT in both STEREO A & B, but there is insufficient data available to give more information. Geomagnetic activity was quiet to moderate and is expected to remain so for the next 48 hours.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 071, based on 16 stations.
