Solar activity remains to be very low with only B-class flares reported during the last 24 hours. The only large sunspot group visible on the solar disc, NOAA AR 2396 is decaying but it still has potential to be the source of the B-class flares and possibly also an isolated C-class flare. No Earth directed CMEs were observed during last 24 hours.
The Earth is inside the slow solar wind with the speed of about 440 km/s. The interplanetary magnetic field magnitude was fluctuating, between 5 and 10nT, during the last 10 hours and its current value is about 5nT. The geomagnetic conditions are presently quiet and we expect them to remain so in the coming hours.
Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 080, based on 21 stations.
