Bulletin

Solar activity has been very low in past 24 h, no flares above the B level. New active regions are rotating into view and may produce C-class flares. Geomagnetic conditions are unsettled due to the arrival of the fast solar wind stream from a northern coronal hole. The solar wind speed is at 500 km/s with interplanetary magnetic field intensities of 9 nT, active conditions can be expected.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 044, based on 20 stations.
