Bulletin

X-ray flux remained below B level throughout the period. The Sun is spotless and no flaring is expected.

No Earth-directed CMEs have been observed in coronagraph data.

The proton flux levels were at background values and expected to remain so.

Solar wind conditions were near nominal with a slight increase in Solar wind speed from 350 km/s to around 370 km/s. total magnetic field was near a nominal 5nT, with a variable Bz and the magnetic field phi angle mainly in the negative sector. Solar wind conditions are expected to become slightly enhanced later today or by tomorrow morning due to the fast flow from the extension of the South polar coronal hole.

Geomagnetic conditions were quiet (both local K Dourbes and NOAA Kp 0-2). Unsettled to active conditions are expected over the next 24-48 hours.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 18 stations.
