Bulletin

There is only one sunspot group (with alpha configuration of its photospheric magnetic field), presently observed on the visible side of the solar disc. Accordingly, solar activity is extremely low and the last B-class flare was reported on May 06. We expect solar activity to stay on the same low level. Isolated B-class flares are still possible but not very probable. Coronagraph observations do not show any Earth directed CME observed in the past 24 hours. The Earth is still inside the slow solar wind with the speed of about 360 km/s and the interplanetary magnetic field magnitude is about 2nT. The geomagnetic conditions are quiet and we expect them to stay so in the coming hours.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 25 stations.
